I really like the way that she is the anchor for movement in the whole shot, and obviously she's the only one standing still... but that's not the only reason it's effective -- the great texture of the room, the expression on her face, the amount you left the shutter open is perfect to get just enough movement but not TOO much, and lastly the look on her face is just priceless... almost pitying the people in such a hurry behind her.

Awesome, man!

Nice shot! It's one of those rebellious shots that has a lot of character, and having it set in a cathedral makes a huge statement.

Which cathedral is it though?

wow this shot is absolutely amazing I like it a lot it shows how busy our world is and that you have only to stand still for a while to realice this ;)

well, i fully disagree with the commenter that said turn her right and natural.
i think this is done well - posed, timed shot in the middle of "chaos".
i almost makes no sense to think that you could make her look natural, unless she was sitting down somewhere.
so anyways, i think the comp is good :)
i know what you mean about seeing things in B/W beforehand, but with all the channel mixing, curves, and conversion techniques, its hard to get a grasp on whats possible sometimes :)
