you know i am excited. i am very excited!
i have been shooting only with my canone ae 1 with 50mm 1.4 for a week and it is awesome! i never really used film a lot and i actually bought this old camera months ago but never really try it. so i am all in film photography now. it is expensive but it really give me a lot of joy!
so i am doing 2 projects. one is to make an art project about my daily routine trip to school and back. it will include details, portraits... i already have some great pieces.
and another one is a project called school mates.... i am doing a kind of a collage of my school mates... about 30 people.... i already have some great ones as well.
did i meantion how fun is it?!!
i can shoot all the time. because i was always so worried about carrying my canon 20D to school!
but i have to admit that i way very much inspired by those guys...you know cweeks, kinderschokolade and zort.
and ok.... reason for doing film photography right now is also to learn and study how to take less shots. i usually take lots of shots.... when i travel i take around 500 shots per day....so i want to get some discipline about it. and it really give better results becuse you have to think before you shoot.... it is expensive!
and she is my schoolfellow Darja. she is often a kind of in her own world and that is why i like this picture which definetly presents her in such way.
I love film and shoot with it still myself.. I'm sure you know about this but I would like to know why you left the scratches in the image and didn't photoshop them out?
Nice work as well.
I like the way as you picture the people around you. For example Darja, infnite tranquility, and kindness.
Lights underline your concept.
As you described, it is a good way to learn discipline, for myself I use medium format, less film even more discipline
