my brother Metod took this picture. i gave him my camera for an hour last week. (20d and sigma 18-50) and he came back with amazing stuff. i was really impressed. he is 10 years old. well i did give him few pieces of advice before like rulez of thirds and i told him to choose such perspective and avoid taking plants from the top. afterwards i only cropped this picture and add some contrast.
please write some comments. i know it is not a master piece. but he would be happy. or we can discuss if it is good that there are more photographers in one family. i am actually a bit worried about it. if he get motivated and we are not in good relations one time.... i dont know. well we are best friends anyway so.. but i want to hear your opinions.
bye-bye
btw this is saffron... there are so many all over right now.....
well, you brother sure did an impressive job. it looks like there will be another great photographer in the family.
he did a great job with the focusing in this... nice vibrant colors too.
if i were to give a critique i would say to perhaps have taken the photo from a tiny bit higher of an angle to get the background to be completely green. having the upper part be the way it is, with trees or whatever in it is a little distracting...
but it's still a nice shot!!!
i know cases where there are problems because brothers and sisters are occupied with same interests....so there is some competition and stuff like that.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

If boyhood and youth are nothing but vanity
Must it not be our ambition to become men?
DOF is perfect. And the part that's in focus is very sharp.
Looks like your brother has an eye for it.
