I like so much that one, filled of poetry and of humor, that gives desire, desire for having the feet in water and all to forget, when a photography makes us dream, it is that it achieved the ultimate finality ! j’aime beaucoup celle-la, remplie de poésie et d’humour, cela donne envie, envie d’avoir les pieds dans l’eau et de tout oublier, quand une photo nous fait rêver, c’est qu’elle a atteint le but ultime ! !
thank you for your support hyper-psycho! i will try find some time and check your new works... i have seen you have captured some nice ones. i will try to give you some feedback as soon i get enough time....
haha... this is so playful, and even more refreshing to see on a cold gloomy winter day.
Personally, I think the idea behind it is the strongest asset to this photo, and therefore I would have categorized it under conceptual, but only you know whether or not you were going for maybe abstract thought
No mans land is usually associated with that territory found amidst the boarder lines, that no one has the right to claim. And here, where the ocean waves rule over the subordinate continent, and sculp into miniature the fine sand particles of the shore line, there can be made no permanent traces, no substantial markup. Because the water comes, and washes it all away back into no-man's land. Water and sand... such classical symbols of the fleeting time.
This is one of the beautiful thing about photography, giving us the potency to preserve impermanent moments in time.
I love that you chose precisely that spot where the Sun bathes the shore, it has some kind of a mesmerizing and mysterious effect, as this warm light coming from outside of the frame.
I love the concept The overexposure at the top of the photo works well as it creates an impression of 'the unknown' which could easily be linked to 'no man's land'
