| Ciril Jazbec belongs to a younger generation of photographers. He was born in Slovenia in 1987. Years of experience have taken him to different corners of the world, polishing his clean and natural style. Photojournalism, portraits and advertising photography are his passion. Back home his clients include all the major advertising agencies, such as Saatchi&Saatchi, Futura DDB, Imelda Ogilvy, Luna/TBWA, Publicis, Mobitel, Renault, Abanka, the Croatian president Ivo Josipović and Telekom are just some of his happy customers. In the desire to further develop his skills, he has attended the workshops held by VII agency in London and Ljubljana. Ciril has so far had over 10 solo exhibitions and has won over 40 awards for his work. His recent achievements include the 1st prize in “people” category at the Slovenian National Geographic 2009 contest, Ad of the Week by Luerzer’s Archive, Best advertising photo at the 2010 Slovenian Advertising Festival and Honorary mention at the Slovenia Press Photo 2010 contest. His work was also published in National Geographic Traveler USA and Reader's Digest magazines. |
